Dinacharya arranges the whole day rather than a single session. The classical sequence begins before sunrise with washing, oral and nasal cleansing, oil massage and movement, places the largest meal at midday when digestion is held to be strongest, and closes with an early, light evening and a fixed bedtime. The routine is adjusted for the practitioner's constitution and for the season, so two people following it may keep noticeably different schedules.
